Prowadzący: Gemma Garcia Roman and Yaro Starak
Description
Art therapy offers a unique pathway for exploring the human psyche, and doodling can be a profound method for unlocking subconscious thoughts and emotions. In our presentation, we discuss "Doodles with a Meaning" where we examine how seemingly random lines and shapes can be transformed into meaningful images with therapeutic value.

Through the Gestalt therapy approach, we demonstrate how allowing the unconscious mind to guide the hand in creating abstract doodles can unveil underlying themes and emotions. These abstract drawings, when interpreted by the client with the support of the professional, can evolve into figures and symbols with profound personal meaning.

We delve into the process of defining the figure within the doodle, seeking patterns, and finding connections that resonate with the creator's life experiences. This journey involves translating the abstract into conscious understanding, allowing clients to discover new insights and deeper self-awareness.

In addition to line work, colour therapy plays a significant role in our exploration. We examine how colours contribute to the emotional tone of the doodle and how they can symbolize different aspects of the creator's life and emotions.

Our presentation aims to illuminate the process of Gestalt art therapy through doodling and how this technique can bridge the gap between the unconscious and conscious mind. By linking these explorations to the "here and now" we help clients find grounding and relevance in their journey of self-discovery. This interactive and introspective approach ultimately fosters a greater understanding of self and promotes emotional healing and growth.

OPIS:
Terapia sztuką oferuje wyjątkową ścieżkę badania ludzkiej psychiki, a bazgranie może być głęboką metodą odblokowania podświadomych myśli i emocji. W naszej prezentacji omawiamy „Doodles with a Meaning”, w którym badamy, jak pozornie przypadkowe linie i kształty można przekształcić w znaczące obrazy o wartości terapeutycznej.

To interaktywne i introspektywne podejście ostatecznie sprzyja lepszemu zrozumieniu siebie i sprzyja uzdrowieniu emocjonalnemu i wzrostowi.
